REGULATION FIIK 2014 

(International Festival of Independent Cinema Kino-Olho)

-       The festival accepts short films up to 20 minutes.

-       There is no defined themes and films should be classified in the following categories: FICTION DIGITAL, DIGITAL DOCUMENTARY, 35MM FILM and KINO-OLHO (exclusive category for participants of the city project).

-       The registration period is from February to June.

-       The Festival will be in the city of Rio Claro / SP on days 28, 29, 30 and 31 August.

-       The list of selected films and the online catalog will be available on site until early August.

-       The director must choose between the online application or traditional application.

ONLINE APPLICATION:

1-   The director must send to jpmiranda82@yahoo.com a message with the header (subject) written the name of the movie followed by 'FIIK 2014'. In the message body should have a link for viewing online video (with the password to watch it if necessary), film name, director, synopsis, category and duration.

2-    In this same message attachment files should be: AUTHORIZATION (signed and scanned) REGISTRATION FORM,  PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL (photo or poster) and a file with english subtitle and timecode (SRT file type).

TRADITIONAL APPLICATION:

1-    The director will send a single package to FIIK 2014 (Rua 7, 1150 Centro. Rio Claro SP 13500-410 Brazil) containing a DVD with the movie file (mpeg-4, H.264 if possible),  a Compact Disc with SIGNED AUTHORIZATION, REGISTRATION FORM PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL (pictures or poster). and a file with english subtitle and timecode (SRT file type).

SELECTION:

1-    The selected directors will receive a message in early August by the same email that informed.

2-    The selected filmmakers will be responsible for shipping of your movie file in MPEG-4 (H.264) format with a maximum resolution of 1080p and can send both media by post or provide a link to the download.

3-    The selected category 35mm filmmakers should send copies. The Festival will be responsible for the return of work.

4-    The honorable mention "Chapéu de Palha" will be delivered to a director of each category, which is selected by the curators. 

5-    The mention will be a art work made ​​by an artist of local notoriety, to represent the "cinema caipira" Kino-Olho group style.

REGULAMENTO FIIK 2014

(Festival Internacional de Cinema Independente Kino-olho)

-       O Festival aceita curtas-metragens de até 20 minutos.

-    Não há temas definidos e os filmes deverão estar classificados nas seguintes categorias: FIÇÃO DIGITAL, DOCUMENTÁRIO DIGITAL, PELÍCULA 35mm e KINO-OLHO (categoria exclusiva para os participantes do projeto local).

-       O período de inscrição é de Fevereiro à Junho.

-       O Festival ocorrerá na cidade de Rio Claro/SP nos dias 28, 29, 30 e 31 de agosto.

-       A lista dos selecionados e o catálogo on-line estarão disponíveis no site até o início de agosto.

-       O realizador deve escolher entre a inscrição on-line ou a inscrição comum.

INSCRIÇÃO ON-LINE:

1-    O realizador enviará para o e-mail jpmiranda82@yahoo.com uma única mensagem tendo no cabeçalho (subject) o nome do filme seguido por ‘FIIK 2014’. No corpo da mensagem deve ter um link para visualização do vídeo on-line (com a senha de acesso para assisti-lo, se necessário), nome do filme, diretor, sinopse, categoria e duração.

2-    Em anexo nesta mesma mensagem deve haver os arquivos: AUTORIZAÇÃO (assinada e escaneada), FORMULÁRIO DE INSCRIÇÃO e MATERIAL DE DIVULGAÇÃO (fotos ou pôster). Abaixo os links para download:

INSCRIÇÃO COMUM:

1-    O realizador enviará uma única correspondência para FIIK 2014 (Rua 7, 1150 Centro. Rio Claro SP Brasil 13500-410) contendo o arquivo do filme em DVD e um Compact Disc com a AUTORIZAÇÃO ASSINADA, FORMULÁRIO DE INSCRIÇÃO e MATERIAL DE DIVULGAÇÃO (fotos ou pôster).

SELEÇÃO:

1-    Os selecionados receberão uma mensagem no início de agosto pelo mesmo e-mail que informaram.

2-    Os realizadores selecionados serão responsáveis pelo envio do arquivo de seu filme no formato MPEG-4 (h.264) com resolução máxima de 1080p, podendo enviar tanto por mídia pelos correios ou fornecer um link para o download.

3-    Os realizadores selecionados na categoria 35mm deverão enviar suas cópias pelos correios (PAC com seguro). O Festival ficará responsável pelos gastos do envio e retorno da obra.

4-    A menção honrosa “Chapéu de palha” será entregue para um realizador de cada categoria, sendo este selecionado pela curadoria. Na categoria Kino-Olho, o filme será eleito por júri popular, no dia da exibição.

5-    A menção será uma obra confeccionada por um artista de notoriedade local, para representar o estilo “cinema caipira” do grupo Kino-Olho.
